Forming AP, SAT, and IB Chemistry Groups, Plus Lessons on Structuring a Chemistry IA

This is another student's lesson, haha.

The IA is gradually taking shape.

Don't struggle with the IA entirely on your own.

First, here is a lesson on establishing the Chemistry IA structure.

Some students arrive with an idea, and others don't.

The student above simply said they wanted to investigate acid–base chemistry. In about an hour, we worked from the idea

through to the report structure.

Students can spend days moving from an idea to an IA structure, or choose a poor structure

and struggle later. A tutor can sometimes clarify the direction in an hour.

IA lessons are increasing again. Today alone, I reviewed three IAs.

I think all the students left with a clear idea and Chemistry IA structure.

After the structure, we'll probably need to work again toward completion.

Students around the world contact me to review IAs, so I've seen many.

The problem is that sometimes I don't have time even for IA lessons. With so many lessons recently,

I'm too exhausted for much private teaching.

Because IA guidance is individual, it is demanding for me, and I often can't schedule long sessions.

I can hardly accept private IB Chemistry lessons either. Most of my classes are groups.

Some people want a group lesson but don't have a group.

So I'm posting publicly to help form groups.

Below are IB Chemistry results from the same school, same year, and HL course. The group consists of top-performing students, haha.

Beyond getting 7s, they all exceeded 90% across two classes at one school.

Some students called rather than messaging, so unfortunately I couldn't keep those results as written records.

They're all within the school's top five, haha.

I'm receiving many inquiries.

Even if you study with someone else, finding a good tutor to work with from advance preparation through question practice

can produce much better results than struggling alone. I hope students can do that.

There are also many SAT Chemistry perfect scores.
