This was a student I was personally very fond of. They struggled but never gave up, and completed homework without complaint.
Their Chemistry grades were low before coming to me, but they earned a 7 in the final. That is very rewarding.
How have you been, teacher? All the university results came out today. After a lot of thought, I decided to go to HASS at Yonsei. Now that admissions are really finished, I thought of you first and wanted to say thank you. Now that it’s all over, I can admit that IB workloads and school friendships weren’t my only problems. I was also dealing with family issues and taking anxiety medication while studying. About two months before the exam, I almost took a leave of absence. Things are getting a little better. Anyway, thank you for helping me so much. Please tell the other teacher too. There aren’t many days left this year, but I hope you finish the year well and have an even better year ahead.

I don't know the exact TOEFL score, but it was above 100.
This student always bought me something to drink. In other words, we had in-person lessons.
Many of my students study online, but this student studied with me in person.
They brought coffee to lessons. Thank you so much.

Teacher, I got off the waitlist for Materials Science at Yonsei. Is it the right choice to turn down Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Korea University and POSTECH?

Another student told me the acceptance news by phone.
They had 44/45, and I don't think they had other exam results.
All the students above qualified for the three-year overseas-study admission route. Personally, I think Yonsei is among the best universities available to students on that route. Thank you, everyone.
I hope you settle in well and grow into wonderful people.
My personal conclusion from these cases is that for Yonsei through the three-year overseas-study route,
a score of at least around 43 seemed necessary, and additional exam results appeared helpful.
