As the Blog Approaches 100 Visitors

I am approaching eight months of academy life in Vietnam.

Teaching IB Chemistry, IB Biology, IGCSE, AP, SAT II Chemistry and Biology, and other courses,

I thought I had worked hard, but looking back, there is plenty I wish I had done better.

I started this blog to reflect on those experiences.

At first, I planned only to post a little each week when I had time.

But one or two visitors became five, then ten,

and I found myself surprisingly sensitive to the numbers. Posting articles and videos became another job.

Here is how I began uploading videos.

At the time, it occurred to me that recording an explanation would help.

I made a rough video, speaking awkwardly, sent it to a student, edited it a little, and posted it here. That was the beginning.

After one or two uploads, I noticed that some videos appeared high in search results on various sites.

Perhaps because I recently told students about the blog,

it has just reached 88 visitors. A few more and it will be 100.

Amazing!
