Free IB Chemistry Lessons and Recent Student Messages—Thank You!

I'm sharing a good result from a youth academic competition involving Chemistry and Biology.

A science report prepared in four days passed the preliminary round.

After passing the preliminaries, the student received a Scholar Award. It's very rewarding. Thank you.

Thank you so much. This student messaged to say they were getting 100 on every exam. They hadn't been especially interested in Chemistry,

but developed a strong interest through the lessons, haha.

I think they lived in the Philippines or Thailand, but I can't remember at this moment.

The school uses performance assessments. Hearing that the student got 100 on the school exam makes me very happy.

They received several offers, and I thought they would choose a university in Canada or Australia. But they're going to Yonsei.

After receiving several offers, they ultimately chose Materials Science and Engineering at Yonsei.

They earned a perfect 45, so the result itself isn't surprising. What's striking is that even with a perfect final total,

they entered Yonsei Materials Science and Engineering through an additional admission round. Wow, it has become difficult.

Four students contacted me about entering Yonsei, and about four also seem to have received offers from universities in Singapore—possibly more.

Singapore decisions came before the finals, so many students had already contacted me. Several parents contacted me too.

As you can see from the conversation, we were close and joked around a lot, haha.

This student came to me with weak results and improved quickly.

In the end, they got into the university they wanted, which made me especially happy.

They had worried about their grades every day.

This student also went to university in Singapore. They were bright and strong academically, so I thought they would go to a good Korean university. I understand they entered a Business program in Singapore. They had talked as though they would go to Korea, so the Singapore decision really surprised me. Congratulations!

Such a kind student, and such a thoughtful mother.

I have only good memories: a kind, capable student who was always cheerful.

I'm so happy things went well. I remember that they liked having fun and eased off a little as soon as the Singapore offer arrived, haha.
