I haven't posted an admissions update for a while.
I finally have a chance to share one.
Several students have been accepted to medical and pharmacy schools, so here is their news!
The first acceptance letter is from Konyang University College of Medicine.
This student was incredibly bright. There wasn't much I needed to explain separately.
The school's Chemistry exams were difficult, but this student was the only one in the class to get a 7.
While the other students were struggling with 4s and 5s, this student kept getting 7s, which at least gave me something to point to!
The school marked so harshly that it was quite stressful.

This student attended an international school in Korea.
They studied AP Chemistry with me. They were also student council president, and I thought they would definitely get into medicine or pharmacy.
And sure enough, they did.
Oh, teacher, it's been a while! I got into Gachon University's pharmacy program!
Many universities haven't announced their decisions yet, so I'm still waiting for the other results. 😄

How did the other students in your group do?
The student above took private lessons with me twice a week, almost without missing a class. After two or three years, I saw them as often as family.
They worked incredibly hard. They had so many activities that there was barely any time left for schoolwork.
I was really upset when they got a 4 in AP Chemistry. Of course, they retook it and got a 5.
We had spent so much time together that I grew very attached to this student and quietly hoped everything would go well.
I'm delighted that their first medical-school offer came from Catholic Kwandong University. Honestly, I thought this student's medical-school result would be the first to arrive.
I believed they would get in, but the delayed announcement made me quite worried. And then they were accepted!

I got into Catholic Kwandong University College of Medicine!
The interview was a three-hour discussion, so I really thought I would be at a disadvantage compared with students from Korean schools. But somehow I got in!
I was also selected for the Overseas Korean Scholarship, which chooses only 20 people worldwide, including graduate students.
So I'll be attending university with scholarship support!
The application limit was lifted for the admission route for students who completed all 12 school years overseas, so I submitted more applications in September. I'll let you know if there's more good news!
With your help, I was able to achieve this miraculous result despite the situation I was in. Thank you so much!

A week before this acceptance, I had been put at number 11 on another university's waiting list and was really shaken. But I miraculously got in here too, haha.
