Fortunately, all three students I taught this time were hardworking.
To reach a perfect SAT Chemistry score, the instructor’s ability does seem important.
When I worked at an academy without my own name attached, I struggled to feel enthusiastic and taught with less energy.
I do not think many students earned 800 then.
Once I was running an academy under my own name, I called students in every day to solve questions.
Their scores gradually rose, until they no longer dropped even under different conditions.
Getting students to that stage brings real peace of mind. They feel good, and I
can relax too. Then I simply let them practice, take a break while they work, and
review the completed questions afterward. After nearly 20 sets, going to the exam feels less like testing their level
and more like going to collect an 800.
Second, students need real enthusiasm. If they follow the work I set, a perfect score is possible.
But missing lessons for various reasons or failing to review moves that score further away.
I was fortunate that all the students in this May sitting were enthusiastic.
I am delighted that everyone earned a perfect score this May. Haha.
