It is difficult for students without the foundations, but if you have the basics and are taking this exam,
we can work to improve your skills as much as possible.
This year’s exam consists entirely of free-response questions. You need to know the question patterns thoroughly.
If you work through around 15 free-response papers and 15 multiple-choice papers and become familiar with the patterns, you should be in a good position.
How much work does it take each day to finish all of that?
Just solving the questions takes about three hours. If you train like this every day, your scores begin to look much stronger.
There are ways to structure free-response answers. Learn those patterns so thoroughly that, in the exam, you can
write them out almost automatically. Understanding is essential, but remembering the full answer structure matters too.
An AP score of 5 starts to come into view when students have worked through those roughly 15 sets of questions about twice.
You can do it on your own, but it is much faster if I help alongside you and explain what you do not understand.
