Teaching AP and IB Chemistry Is So Rewarding—Thank You!

It's been a while since I posted.

Recently, things have been difficult. Because of COVID, I spent more time at home, and repeating the same work every day became hard to bear.

I keep saying I need rest and won't take more lessons, but my schedule is always full. I don't seem to be accepting new students,

yet former students return after a break and others come through referrals, and I end up accommodating them.

So it's always full. Repeating the same work every day seems to have worn me down. Even so,

messages like these make me tearfully grateful and give me strength.

I think they are the main thing that keeps me teaching.

This student had been getting below 5 in IB Chemistry, then consistently earned 7s after I began teaching them and entered the university they wanted.

Students don't usually stay in contact after entering university, so I'm deeply grateful that they still message me.

A student at a Korean school also sent a message saying their Chemistry exam went well. Thank you so much.

A student at an international school in Jakarta earned 100—the score was raised after a three-mark marking error was corrected.
